Overview

Own daily transportation scheduling for residents at a senior living community and coordinate drivers to deliver timely, cost efficient service. Manage Worxhub entries, dispatch, and trip data while assisting with driving duties when needed. Collaborate with care teams, residents, and vendors to ensure safe, reliable transport and adherence to policies. This role blends logistics with resident support in a onsite, contract setting.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage daily transportation schedules in Worxhub to meet resident needs
  • 2Dispatch drivers for hospital, appointment, and outing trips with emphasis on timeliness and safety
  • 3Track and communicate trip changes to the scheduler, caregivers, and residents
  • 4Maintain vehicle readiness including maintenance, fuel, and cleanliness while ensuring seat belts and wheelchair locks are secured
  • 5Provide front entry support, assist residents, and communicate directions and parking information
  • 6Record transportation charges and distribute relevant data to Accounting
  • 7Assist with driving duties as needed and support incident reporting and documentation
  • 8Operate within time-sensitive schedules with minimal supervision
  • 9Coordinate with vendors and visitors and manage on-campus notifications
  • 10Ensure compliance with traffic safety rules and facility policies

Requirements10

  • 1Must be 21 years of age
  • 2Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills in a high-paced environment
  • 3Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • 4Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • 5Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • 6Read maps and locate addresses
  • 7Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • 8Able to respond quickly to signals and manage visual and cognitive tasks
  • 9Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist in movement of residents if necessary
  • 10Minimum three years experience in a commercial driving position or senior community transportation
