Transports patients and equipment to and from appointments and facilities at scale, ensuring safety and comfort across routes. What You'll Do10
- 1Transport patients and/or equipment to external locations in a safe, professional manner
- 2Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic inspections before daily use
- 3Communicate with hospital staff to receive instructions and data
- 4Assist with patient transfers and balancing, ensuring comfort and safety
- 5Monitor and apply appropriate PPE for patient and driver prior to transport
- 6Report vehicle concerns promptly and adhere to safety and infection prevention standards
- 7Ensure adherence to patient safety and vehicle safety requirements
- 8Maintain attendance and complete required trainings as assigned
- 9Prepare for and respond to staffing emergencies and inclement weather
- 10Support overall efficiency of the organization through reliable transportation services
Requirements5
- 1High school graduate or equivalent
- 2Basic Life Support card required
- 3Six months van transport experience preferred
- 4Must maintain acceptable driving record and current class driver’s license
- 5Ability to operate vehicle safely and communicate effectively with staff
