Resident Transportation Driver, Long-Term Care & Local Transport
Overview
Own transport operations for residents at scale within a long term care facility. You will coordinate safe local trips, assist residents boarding and exiting vehicles, and maintain a clean vehicle environment. Collaborate with residents, families, and staff while following facility procedures and safety standards. This role offers part-time hours and a compassionate, safety-focused team environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build safe, timely transportation to and from scheduled appointments
- 2Assist residents when entering and exiting the transportation vehicle
- 3Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable vehicle environment
- 4Communicate professionally with residents, families, facility staff, and appointment providers
- 5Follow all facility transportation procedures and safety requirements
- 6Complete required transportation documentation
- 7Perform duties within training and certification levels as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 3CNA certification preferred but not required
- 4Dependable, compassionate, and committed to resident safety
- 5Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
