Own safe, timely resident transport across Dallas with CDL Class C authority. Coordinate routes and vehicle readiness to support daily operations, focusing on reliability and safety. What You'll Do9
- 1Safely transport residents to scheduled destinations, following all driving regulations and company policies.
- 2Plan daily routes using GPS and maps, adjusting for traffic and weather to meet time windows.
- 3Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, checking tires, brakes, and fluids to ensure CDL compliance.
- 4Document mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance issues, reporting any irregularities to the supervisor.
- 5Assist residents with boarding and alighting, securing mobility aids for stable and comfortable rides.
- 6Coordinate with dispatch to adjust schedules for last-minute changes or delays, communicating clear updates.
- 7Keep the vehicle clean and sanitized, particularly high-touch surfaces to support health protocols.
- 8Perform minor repairs like changing bulbs or wipers, escalating complex issues to the maintenance team.
- 9Maintain a professional demeanor, representing the company positively with residents and staff.
Requirements8
- 1Valid CDL Class C license with clean driving record.
- 21+ years commercial driving experience, preferred in passenger transport.
- 3Proven ability to read maps and operate GPS navigation systems.
- 4Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, including tire pressure checks and fluid top-offs.
- 5Strong customer service skills, especially with senior residents.
- 6Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings and weekends.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8Background check and drug screening required.
