Overview
Title Agent at Coates Field Service is a full-time onsite role in Kansas City, MO focusing on in-house project support for daily operations. You will build ownership databases, analyze legal documents, and prepare project reports for field teams. What You'll Do10
- 1Build ownership databases of property owners along project routes to support acquisitions
- 2Analyze legal documents for proper execution and notarization
- 3Examine right of way files to identify issues such as line rights and lease terms
- 4Review title information and verify accuracy of legal descriptions against maps
- 5Prepare database reports on ownership, acquisition status, payments, and property values
- 6Create aerial and overview maps showing easements and property coverage
- 7Assemble acquisition folders and project map books for field negotiations
- 8Process project changes and update project databases and maps
- 9Update Content Manager with recorded documents and save new easements to project folders
- 10Coordinate field office activities with Right of Way Supervisor, agents, field personnel, vendors, and clients
Requirements6
- 1Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Project or similar software to generate project reports
- 2Understanding of GIS mapping software such as Google Earth/Pro, ArcMap
- 3Knowledge of cloud-based applications like OneDrive or similar
- 4Knowledge of land and right of way acquisition processes and documentation
- 5Knowledge of legal document execution practices for trusts, conservatorships, guardianships, estates
- 6Ability to plot metes and bounds and read various maps
