Overview
We seek a detail-oriented Finisher-Jr for a 3rd shift position in Mansfield, MA. You will craft high-precision surgical instruments that impact patient care. This role involves loading and unloading instruments in a laser marking machining center while maintaining documentation and adhering to procedures.
What You'll Do5
- 1Perform finishing techniques such as buffing polishing grinding deburring and etching on machined products
- 2Load and unload medical and surgical instruments in a laser marking machining center
- 3Use measuring equipment like micrometers calipers scales indicators optical comparators and video measurement systems
- 4Conduct routine visual inspections to detect defects and non-conformances against blueprints and quality specs
- 5Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures with moderate supervision
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma vocational education or equivalent
- 22 to 4 years experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
- 3Developed technical skills in mechanical or manufacturing settings
- 4Proven ability to recognize and solve routine problems in the work area
- 5Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
