Production Technician - 3rd Shift
Overview
Level One: Under direct supervision, level one part finishers complete a number of part finishing tasks such as visual inspection, part cleaning, minor paint touch up, minor assembly, part marking, and part polishing. This role will require basic mechanical aptitude, basic shop math, the use of common hand tools and powered equipment such as part marking and polishing equipment. 0-1 YOE. What You'll Do9
- 1Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction
- 2In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
- 3Set work priority & schedule
- 4Perform full machine setups
- 5Provide leadership and training to lower level employees
- 6Produce paperwork/operation audit
- 7Maintain close eye work standards while operating computers and typing
- 8Execute detailed part finishing procedures including polishing and marking
- 9Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and quality assurance teams
Requirements10
- 1The ability to read and write English
- 2Basic Inspection Processes (Tools & Measurements)
- 3Advanced Understanding of Machine Function (Setups)
- 4Advanced knowledge of tools (Drills, Reams, Taps)
- 5Strong communication skills with manufacturing engineers and QA personnel
- 6Typically 2-4 years of recent and relevant work experience or training
- 7High School Diploma or GED expected
- 8Experience with Excel and other production management software
- 9Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- 10Ability to pass enhanced background checks due to export control requirements
