Associate Manufacturing Technician Boston Massachusetts 3 month night shift contract role focusing on advanced manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform equipment setup operation repair and basic daily weekly preventative maintenance tasks under minimal supervision
- 2Maintain machine raw material feeds perform fault clearing and clear stoppages on automated equipment
- 3Utilize human machine interfaces to identify and correct process control shifts
- 4Ensure adequate raw material preparation and timely job execution for on-time delivery
- 5Execute equipment inspections generate emergency corrective and preventative work orders
- 6Troubleshoot mechanical errors safety issues and operating inefficiencies
- 7Use computer systems for material inventory and quality management processes
- 8Participate in new product design transfer process development equipment validations and process validations
- 9Investigate and resolve process issues within equipment cells
- 10Perform routine cleaning inspection lubrication of machinery
- 11Maintain measuring and monitoring devices using tools to ensure correct tolerances
Requirements16
- 1High school Diploma or GED minimum 3 years on-the-job manufacturing experience
- 2Proficiency in English language reading documentation communicating writing
- 3Mathematical skills basic arithmetic algebra geometry
- 4Experience with automated equipment debugging maintenance
- 5Familiarity with HMIs
- 6Knowledge of micrometers calipers feeler gauges dial indicators gauge blocks
- 7Self starter capability for fast paced multi tasking environment
- 8Manufacturing experience in medical device industry
- 9Previous experience with discrete assembly robotics
- 10Familiarity with optical gauging video microscopes
- 11Previous experience assembling debugging optimizing discrete component assembly
- 12Technologies such as laser welding heat staking ultrasonic welding
- 13Experience in start-up production environments
- 14Mechanical aptitude knowledge of automated machines tools design uses repair maintenance
- 15Understanding raw materials measurement instruments production processes quality control
- 16Problem solving root cause analysis techniques
