Overview

Cube Hub Inc seeks a skilled Electromechanical Technician in Boston for a contract position. This role involves assembling mechanical electrical and electromechanical systems following engineering specifications. The ideal candidate is independent detail oriented and capable of working in regulated manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Assemble mechanical electrical and electromechanical components subassemblies and finished products
  • 2Perform wiring cable routing soldering crimping and connector installation
  • 3Read and interpret assembly drawings wiring diagrams schematics and bills of materials
  • 4Conduct functional testing calibration and verification of assembled products
  • 5Troubleshoot assembly and test issues using standard diagnostic equipment
  • 6Document assembly activities test results and nonconformance findings
  • 7Ensure compliance with safety procedures quality standards and company policies
  • 8Maintain accurate production records including Device History Records and travelers
  • 9Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • 10Collaborate with Engineering Quality Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams
  • 11Support prototype builds engineering evaluations and new product introduction activities

Requirements11

  • 1High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2Ability to read and interpret technical drawings electrical schematics and assembly documentation
  • 3Experience using hand tools power tools measuring instruments and test equipment
  • 4Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
  • 5Strong attention to detail commitment to quality
  • 6Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • 7Familiarity with regulated manufacturing processes and procedures
  • 8Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs
  • 9Experience with IPC certifications or knowledge of ISO 13485 GMP FDA quality systems
  • 10Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • 11Associate Degree or technical certification in relevant field preferred
