Overview
You will assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies for state-of-the-art CT scanning equipment in Boston, Massachusetts. Your work directly impacts X-ray source testing and large-scale capital equipment production. You will collaborate with a skilled manufacturing team and document every step for full traceability. What You'll Do10
- 1Assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies from detailed work instructions and CAD drawings.
- 2Perform QC checks using factory checklists to validate build quality against specifications.
- 3Test and troubleshoot CT scanning equipment to ensure factory performance standards.
- 4Track work performed using company software tools for production metrics.
- 5Document part and assembly issues, required reworks, and machine configurations for traceability.
- 6Provide feedback to improve work instructions and resolve manufacturing process problems.
- 7Test X-ray sources in a Manufacturing Test Bed according to documented procedures.
- 8Execute Hipot and ground continuity testing on assemblies.
- 9Perform overhead lifting with vacuum lifters, gantry cranes, and forklifts after training.
- 10Crate large-scale capital equipment per work instructions for safe shipment.
Requirements7
- 12+ years assembling electro-mechanical systems or similar hands-on technical roles.
- 2Proficiency reading CAD drawings and detailed work instructions.
- 3Experience with Hipot and ground continuity testing.
- 4Ability to operate vacuum lifters, gantry cranes, and forklifts (training provided).
- 5Strong attention to detail for QC inspections and documentation.
- 6Comfort working with X-ray or high-voltage equipment (safety training provided).
- 7High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
