Overview
Precision Electromechanical Assembly Specialist needed for a global security inspection technology leader in Andover MA. Rapiscan designs airport baggage cargo vehicle inspection systems. You will perform hands-on assembly tasks Monday through Thursday and Friday. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities to impact diverse projects.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform general assembly on subassemblies using proper procedures
- 2Hand crimp wire connectors with precision
- 3Solder wires PCBs and subassemblies to exact specs
- 4Apply calibrated pipette substances to test samples
- 5Learn and execute basic troubleshooting for non-conforming units
- 6Meet daily production targets
- 7Adjust to priority changes as needed
- 8Report quality issues to management for resolution
- 9Uphold integrity innovation accountability teamwork and code of ethics
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or trade school certification
- 22+ years assembling electromechanical devices
- 3Proficiency with hand tools including soldering equipment screwdrivers wrenches pipettes and heat guns
- 4Strong grasp of workmanship standards and quality control including ESD compliance
- 5Results oriented self motivated attitude
