Production Assembler, Electrical Components & Manufacturing
Overview
You will assemble electrical and industrial products from components, working with hand tools and test equipment in a warehouse setting. You will read technical drawings and work orders to determine assembly steps. Your work ensures quality and safety standards for a global MRO and OEM supplier. 9 distribution centers and 500 branches rely on your precision. This contract role in Charlotte, NC starts August 24, 2026.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assemble components into finished products using hand tools and test equipment, following technical drawings and work orders.
- 2Perform simple machine setup and operate screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting equipment.
- 3Inspect and test your work for quality, resolving simple problems and correcting errors or seeking help.
- 4Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety regulations and company practices.
- 5Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence and materials.
- 6Clean, prepare, and stage job materials for production according to procedure.
- 7Verify final products meet all specifications before shipment.
- 8Coordinate maintenance and repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- 9Precisely measure components and materials using calipers and other tools.
- 10Follow quality and manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2Prior production experience in a manufacturing or assembly role.
- 3Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process documents.
- 4Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve simple problems.
- 6Experience with cabling, harnessing, PCB repair, or SMT is preferred.
- 7Basic knowledge of screening equipment and printing materials.
- 8Ability to precisely measure and calibrate using hand tools.
- 9Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders.
- 10Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
