Assembly Technician, Mechanical & Electrical Manufacturing
Overview
You will build complex machinery for a top manufacturer in Riverside, MO. From day one, you own the assembly of mechanical and electrical components using blueprints and hand and power tools. You join a team of 5+ skilled assemblers and report to the production lead. This role stands out with a rapid interview process and $25-$32/hr pay, plus overtime. Your work directly impacts customer orders and production targets.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assemble mechanical components per blueprints and work orders, ensuring precise fit and function.
- 2Wire electrical panels and connectors, following schematics and safety standards.
- 3Use hand tools and power tools to install fasteners, brackets, and subassemblies.
- 4Conduct quality checks on finished assemblies, documenting deviations and rework.
- 5Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow.
- 6Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S principles.
- 7Operate overhead cranes and lifts to move heavy components safely.
- 8Troubleshoot assembly issues and adjust parts or processes as needed.
Requirements8
- 13-5 years of mechanical assembly or electrical assembly experience.
- 2Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- 3Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
- 4Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of fasteners and torque specs.
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7Availability for Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm shifts.
- 8Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Salary Insight
$62 - $67k per year
