Assembly Lead, Mechanical Assembly & Manufacturing

What You'll Do7
- 1Lead and mentor assembly team members, building a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- 2Plan and prioritize daily production activities to meet schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- 3Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance across the assembly line.
- 4Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- 5Coordinate with engineering, quality, planning, and warehouse teams to resolve production issues.
- 6Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- 7Maintain accurate production records and communicate status updates to management.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
- 2At least 2 years of leadership or lead role experience.
- 3Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and work orders.
- 4Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures.
- 5Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- 6Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP preferred).
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- 8Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma (preferred).
- 9Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems (preferred).
- 10Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions (preferred).
