Overview
You will assemble precision condition monitoring instruments at Metrix, a global leader in machinery protection. You will own the assembly of parts, soldering components, and packaging products to meet quality and quantity targets. You will join a Houston-based team serving 40+ countries, working with detailed assembly instructions and QMS procedures. What You'll Do8
- 1Assemble parts in specified relationships using hand tools and bench test equipment to meet quality and quantity goals.
- 2Set up and run assembly machines and processes per detailed instructions.
- 3Solder electronic components with precision, following IPC standards and QMS procedures.
- 4Package finished products for shipping, ensuring labels and packaging meet specifications.
- 5Train other employees on job functions and safety requirements as needed.
- 6Participate in the Continuous Improvement process and Near Miss program.
- 7Maintain up-to-date training on safety, 5S, and OSHA guidelines.
- 8Adapt to production changes and handle additional duties as directed by team leads.
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or equivalent.
- 22+ years in manufacturing processes and electronic soldering experience.
- 3Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.
- 4Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- 5Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- 6Good written and oral communication, plus effective time management.
- 7Demonstrated self-starter who works independently and in teams.
- 8Familiarity with QMS procedures and OSHA safety guidelines.
