Overview
You'll own precision assembly and soldering for advanced industrial systems in a clean, climate-controlled shop in Lockport, IL. What You'll Do9
- 1Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products following work instructions and engineering drawings, including SMT and through-hole soldering.
- 2Perform fine-pitch soldering under magnification, ensuring reliable joints and adherence to IPC standards.
- 3Build, route, and inspect cable assemblies and wire harnesses, verifying continuity and correct pinouts.
- 4Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly documentation with high accuracy.
- 5Conduct visual inspections and basic functional tests to confirm performance and reliability, using multimeter and other tools.
- 6Flag quality concerns, identify assembly issues, and suggest process improvements to reduce defects.
- 7Record production and quality data with precision and timeliness, maintaining traceability.
- 8Adhere to safety procedures and standardized manufacturing practices, keeping an organized workspace.
- 9Partner closely with production, quality, and engineering to meet schedule and yield targets.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 23+ years of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- 3Advanced soldering proficiency, including fine-pitch components under magnification.
- 4Skilled in SMT and through-hole assembly techniques.
- 5Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- 6Exceptional attention to detail and quality mindset.
- 7Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
