What You'll Do11
- 1Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies following engineering drawings and schematics
- 2Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and assembly instructions
- 3Measure cut strip route and terminate wires using industry-standard tools
- 4Crimp terminals pins and connectors while ensuring proper torque specifications
- 5Install connectors backshells heat shrink tubing and label all assemblies
- 6Conduct thorough continuity and electrical testing using multimeters and cable testers
- 7Identify and resolve wiring errors improper crimps and assembly defects
- 8Perform rework and repairs to maintain production quality standards
- 9Maintain detailed production and inspection documentation
- 10Follow ESD safety protocols and quality control procedures
- 11Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines
Requirements8
- 15+ years experience with wire harnesses cable assemblies electrical assembly
- 2High school diploma preferred with background in electrical work
- 3Proven ability to read technical drawings schematics and assembly instructions
- 4Strong proficiency with wire stripping cutting crimping and electrical termination techniques
- 5Experience using hand tools multimeters and cable test equipment
- 6Familiarity with IPC WHMA-A-620 standards and aerospace manufacturing practices
- 7Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- 8Commitment to safety compliance and quality-controlled production processes
