What You'll Do7
- 1Operate the PBX to answer incoming and in-house call requests.
- 2Respond to emergency codes quickly and calmly with appropriate overhead paging.
- 3Contact patients for address updates as directed by Supervisor.
- 4Review updates in the communication book and initial memos.
- 5Inventory contents of safe at the start of each shift with a security guard present.
- 6Assign loaner beepers and program new beepers.
- 7Maintain courteous and professional dialogue with all customers.
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- 2On the job training.
- 3Must react quickly and calmly to emergency situations and work without direct supervision.
- 4Must possess good interpersonal skills and excellent phone etiquette.
- 5Preferred: Previous switchboard or telephone experience.
