Technical Recruiter, Defense Industry & IT/Engineering Talent
Overview
Own the full-cycle recruiting strategy for three offices across NJ PA and VA handling engineering IT and cybersecurity roles. You will partner with hiring managers to forecast needs and build a proactive pipeline including interns contractors and full time hires. You will leverage social media and university relations to reach diverse talent and drive recruiting brand awareness. This role centers on process improvement and collaboration with HR accounting to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and own the end to end recruiting strategy for three offices and multiple roles
- 2Drive candidate outreach pipeline development and social media advertising to attract technical talent
- 3Partner with hiring managers to understand position needs and plan for part time full time contractors and interns
- 4Guide applicants through interview processes and coordinate assessments and onboarding
- 5Maintain OFCCP data and candidate records for internal and external reporting
- 6Develop relationships with schools veteran groups and minority/diversity tech communities
- 7Coordinate quarterly Virtual Career Fairs and represent NDI at college and industry events
- 8Manage job postings across LinkedIn DOL and ATS and optimize Talent Hub database reports
- 9Monitor recruiting budget and provide monthly expenditure reports
- 10Recommend process improvements and standard industry policies to attract target talent
- 11Prepare regular metrics and feedback to stakeholders to inform hiring strategy
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of experience as a recruiter
- 2One year in recruiting technical personnel with preference for defense industry familiarity
- 3US citizenship required
- 4Proven track record recruiting for engineering IT cybersecurity and related technical roles
- 5Experience managing job postings and applicant tracking systems and reporting
- 6Ability to collaborate with HR accounting and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding
- 7Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- 8Experience coordinating career fairs and university relationships
- 9Familiarity with OFCCP data handling and compliance requirements
