TDM Planner III - Transportation Demand Management Specialist

What You'll Do11
- 1Design program test administer analyze surveys to support TDM planning travel behavior analysis stakeholder engagement and program evaluation
- 2Develop maps and conduct geospatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Online Replica and other transportation data sources creating static maps interactive web maps StoryMaps dashboards and digital visualization products
- 3Analyze Replica and other transportation data sources to understand travel patterns trip purposes modes origins destinations traveler characteristics and opportunities for reducing single-occupancy vehicle travel
- 4Conduct best practices research in transportation planning engage stakeholders through in-person virtual and digital activities using Social Pinpoint or similar platforms
- 5Use technical analysis stakeholder input and research findings to develop practical recommendations that reduce single-occupancy vehicle travel improve access to transit walking bicycling carpooling vanpooling shared mobility and other transportation options
- 6Review and understand policy legislation and relevant land use requirements as they pertain to TDM and assist clients with associated compliance
- 7Prepare technical memoranda planning reports implementation plans evaluation reports and other studies that clearly summarize methods findings recommendations and next steps
- 8Develop and deliver presentations manage project tasks timelines and budgets interact with clients and develop maintain client relationships
- 9Assist with development of proposals scopes of work schedules budgets and technical approaches
- 10Manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional project teams within budgetary and schedule constraints
- 11Maintain professional ethics leadership skills accountability decision-making excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication and analytic abilities
Requirements11
- 14+ years of experience in a consulting environment or public entity
- 2Bachelor’s degree in planning or a related field
- 3Expertise in TDM public transit or active transportation with strong interest in TDM
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Excel advanced ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for geospatial analysis and map creation
- 5Experience developing interactive web maps ArcGIS StoryMaps dashboards and similar digital communication products
- 6Ability to design program administer analyze surveys with knowledge of questionnaire design survey logic data quality and response bias
- 7Experience translating complex data into easy-to-understand reports maps and presentations
- 8Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects
- 9Excellent professional ethics leadership skills accountability and decision-making capabilities
- 10Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication and analytic skills
- 11Good presentation skills
