What You'll Do8

  • 1Manage or serve as technical lead for multimodal transportation planning and preliminary engineering projects for public and private sector transportation projects
  • 2Coordinate with clients and consultants as part of a project team
  • 3Manage in-house technical disciplines and specialty consultants in developing transportation planning and engineering projects
  • 4Handle project management including scopes of work budgets and schedules
  • 5Participate in business development activities within the transportation sector
  • 6Develop proposals for project pursuits
  • 7Assist in staff training and development
  • 8Lead education initiatives

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Planning Civil Engineering or related field with minimum 15 years progressive industry experience focused on public sector clients
  • 2Proven client interaction and business development experience
  • 3Expertise in planning studies grants freight studies traffic and data analysis travel demand modeling preliminary engineering and cost estimating rail grade separation projects
  • 4Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • 6Knowledge of project management procedures tools and software
  • 7Familiarity with GIS CAD Synchro and Highway Capacity Manual procedures
  • 8Master’s Degree with a Transportation Focus preferred AICP or PE preferred
