What You'll Do11
- 1Manage multimodal transportation planning and preliminary engineering projects for public and private sector transportation projects
- 2Coordinate with clients and consultants as part of a project team
- 3Lead management of in-house technical disciplines and specialty consultants
- 4Track projects including scopes budgets and schedules
- 5Participate in business development activities within the transportation sector
- 6Develop proposals for project pursuits
- 7Assist in staff training and development
- 8Mentor junior staff and drive innovation in problem identification and solution
- 9Prepare scopes of work budgets and meeting materials
- 10Apply knowledge of project management procedures tools and software
- 11Utilize GIS CAD Synchro and Highway Capacity Manual procedures
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Planning Civil Engineering or related field
- 2Minimum 15 years progressive industry experience focused on public sector clients
- 3Proven experience with planning studies grants freight studies traffic and data analysis travel demand modeling preliminary engineering and cost estimating rail grade separation projects
- 4Client interaction and business development proposal development experience
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 6Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- 7Knowledge of project management capabilities
- 8Master’s Degree with a Transportation Focus preferred
- 9AICP or PE preferred
- 10Competitive salary range $140000 - $175000 based on experience and location
