Overview

Synch & Creative Coordinator at Reservoir curates and maintains Spotify playlists, builds DISCO samplers, and supports the Synch and Creative teams. You will own the catalog's pitch materials and metadata workflows, working directly with A&R and Creative in a publicly traded independent music company. This role connects creative pitching with the daily operations of a Top 10 music publisher.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Curate and maintain Spotify playlists for music supervisors, focusing on pitch-ready tracks and genres.
  • 2Build and refine DISCO samplers and playlists for synch pitches and creative opportunities.
  • 3Prepare metadata spreadsheets for DISCO import, checking audio completeness and alignment.
  • 4Ingest audio files for new signings and releases from existing clients into DISCO.
  • 5Support the Synch team by researching new tools and technologies to improve workflows.
  • 6Coordinate with A&R to maintain an accessible music library and verify catalog metadata.
  • 7Complete monthly expense reports and assist with scheduling for the Creative teams.
  • 8Update roster sheets and Spotify playlists with weekly new releases.
  • 9Assist with LA office events, including performance ticket buys and visitor coordination.
  • 10Maintain office common areas and kitchen supplies, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Requirements8

  • 11+ years in music publishing, synch, or creative coordination, with DISCO or similar asset management platforms.
  • 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for metadata and spreadsheet management.
  • 3Strong attention to detail with music assets, metadata, and catalog information.
  • 4Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
  • 5Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • 6Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in the music industry.
  • 7Self-starter who takes initiative and follows tasks through to completion.
  • 8Familiarity with Spotify playlist curation and pitching workflows.
