What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise Data Centre Technicians and Facilities Technicians
- 2Operate and maintain data centres to ensure optimal uptime measured by Five 9’s
- 3Comply with fire health and life safety regulations for all local state and federal requirements
- 4Schedule daily operations and maintenance for non‑critical and critical tasks
- 5Review budgets staff planning NPS and efficiency to meet CFOps goals
- 6Analyze equipment data to improve effectiveness cost safety and reliability
- 7Train technicians on equipment PM’s QA processes and CFOps procedures
- 8Maintain comprehensive training documentation and provide it to HR
- 9Ensure maximum efficiency by analyzing operating conditions and recommending new technologies
- 10Manage shift assignments timekeeping reviews and PTO approvals for technicians
- 11Write and review method of procedures standard operating procedures and standard method of procedure
Requirements14
- 1Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems design layout installation commissioning and operations
- 2Expert knowledge of low voltage systems fire security and PLCs
- 3Expert knowledge of NFPA Electrical Fire and Life Safety and building codes
- 4Expert knowledge of NEC NFPA 70E NFPA 72 and NFPA 25 compliance issues
- 5Experience with industrial safety best practices lockout tag out arc flash protection OSHA and state regulations
- 6Proficiency with data trending and analysis using PC based integrated critical monitoring systems
- 7Excellent supervisory skills strong written and oral communication abilities
- 8Extensive hands‑on experience installing maintaining and troubleshooting large commercial and industrial mechanical electrical systems
- 9Familiarity with power distribution management systems VFD drives centrifugal chillers cooling towers water treatment HVAC computer room AC units Kyoto Cooling units
- 10Knowledge of NFPA 25 sprinkler and dry stand pipe systems emergency fire pump
- 11Ability to conduct power fire system capacity safety and code compliance assessments
- 12Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Project
- 13Experience training electrical and mechanical teams on systems procedures
- 14Capability to perform process driven team environment problem solving and multitasking
Salary Insight
$109 - $156k per year
