Student Services Specialist Senior, Dual Enrollment & Advising
Overview
Owns advising and admissions support for dual enrollment students at Rio Salado College with a focus on progress tracking for academic and career pathways through outreach and collaboration. Works with students, parents, and high school partners using SIS and Google Workspace to guide from enrollment to graduation. Collaborates with multiple departments to streamline processes and ensure successful degree or certificate completion. This role differentiates itself by combining direct student support with cross-departmental coordination in a large district setting.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain student records and progress dashboards to drive degree progress
- 2Guide students through admissions, registration and advising using sisy data across channels
- 3Coordinate recruitment and enrollment efforts with high school partners and deliver on-campus and outreach presentations
- 4Partner with faculty, Admissions and Records, and Student Business Services to improve enrollment workflows
- 5Track and report on degrees and degree progress with data-driven insights
- 6Provide one-on-one advising to develop degree and career plans within dual enrollment programs
- 7Travel to partner locations for outreach and on-site support as needed
- 8Support high school liaisons, students, and parents to monitor milestones and barriers
- 9Deliver early college student support through multiple software tools including sIS and Google Workspace
- 10Assist in creating career pathways and degree completion plans for dual enrollment
Requirements9
- 1Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of related student services or college teaching experience
- 2OR equivalent combination of degree and directly related full-time work experience
- 3Ability to work in person at least 3 days per week and travel to MCCCD partner locations
- 4Valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License or equivalent if moving from out of state
- 5Strong experience with student information systems and office productivity tools such as Google Workspace and MS Office
- 6Demonstrated ability to perform data reporting, outreach, and cross-department collaboration
- 7Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and high school staff
- 8Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Salary Insight
$42 - $56k per year
