This individual contributor role sits on Talkiatry's Partnerships team, expanding access to psychiatric care through strategic relationships. You will lead the full lifecycle from prospecting to launch, leveraging your established network of executives and physician leaders. Success means creating a robust pipeline and securing meaningful referral partnerships that establish Talkiatry as a trusted behavioral health partner.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Develop and execute a territory strategy targeting new health system partnerships, prioritizing high-potential accounts. Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities from your network and cold outreach.
  • 2Own the full partnership lifecycle from first contact to signed agreement and launch, including discovery, executive presentations, and negotiation. Achieve quarterly partnership and growth goals.
  • 3Leverage and expand your executive network across health systems, IDNs, academic medical centers, and physician organizations. Build consensus with clinical and operational leaders to align Talkiatry's value with each system's priorities.
  • 4Navigate complex organizational structures to secure buy-in from stakeholders including C-suite, referral management, and population health teams. Use your understanding of organizational dynamics to remove obstacles.
  • 5Track and analyze the health system landscape in your territory, monitoring executive moves, strategic initiatives, and competitive activity. Apply insights to refine your territory approach.
  • 6Create and maintain a systematic territory plan covering prospecting, account prioritization, and pipeline management. Use CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot to ensure consistent follow-through.
  • 7Represent Talkiatry as a thought partner by articulating industry trends, healthcare economics, and referral workflows. Present compelling business cases to senior leaders at partner organizations.
  • 8Partner with internal teams across Clinical, Operations, Legal, Product, and Executive Leadership to structure agreements. Drive opportunities forward independently while engaging these stakeholders when needed.
  • 9Attend industry conferences, executive forums, and professional networks to expand your network and generate new leads. Elevate Talkiatry's brand and position as a preferred behavioral health partner.

Requirements9

  • 17+ years developing and closing enterprise partnerships with health systems, IDNs, academic medical centers, or physician organizations.
  • 2Proven track record of independently sourcing, developing, and closing new business opportunities in a quota-carrying role.
  • 3Demonstrated experience building executive relationships across health system executives, physician leaders, and clinical stakeholders. Ability to convert those relationships into partnerships.
  • 4Success navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving clinical, operational, legal, finance, and executive decision-makers.
  • 5Deep understanding of health system operations, physician referral patterns, and behavioral health access challenges.
  • 6Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience presenting business cases to senior healthcare leaders.
  • 7Experience developing territory strategies, building a healthy pipeline, and forecasting accurately using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • 8Ability to operate independently with ownership and accountability while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Willing to travel up to 30%.
  • 9Preferred: Experience building referral partnerships in behavioral health, psychiatry, telehealth, or specialty care. MBA, MHA, or MPH is a plus.
