Overview
Own referral growth for Athena Care across Tennessee, building a network that connects patients to IOP/PHP, Spravato, IM Ketamine, and TMS. You'll work with a supportive team that combines the feel of a small practice with strong business expertise. This role lets you shape market development while creating genuine access to mental health care throughout the state.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a referral network across Tennessee by targeting primary care, pediatricians, care managers, behavioral health providers, and EAPs through in-person visits and presentations.
- 2Own the full referral lifecycle from first contact to conversion, acting as the liaison between partners and Athena Care staff to ensure a smooth experience.
- 3Partner with the call center and referrals teams to remove access barriers and boost conversion rates for services like IOP/PHP and Spravato.
- 4Present the full range of Athena Care services, including TMS and psychotherapy, to varied audiences with clarity and clinical accuracy.
- 5Track all outreach and pipeline activity in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) to report KPIs like visits completed and referrals by service line.
- 6Analyze market data to spot gaps in service access and new opportunities, then collaborate with marketing on collateral and campaigns that support your outreach.
- 7Represent Athena Care at community events to build long-term relationships and increase access to quality mental health care.
- 8Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all services to serve as a trusted resource for referral partners seeking appropriate patient placements.
Requirements9
- 12-3 years in outreach, business development, sales, or marketing; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- 2Familiarity with mental health services such as IOP/PHP, Spravato, TMS, and IM Ketamine is a plus.
- 3Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot preferred.
- 4Current, valid driver's license with no restrictions and ability to pass motor vehicle record check.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex clinical information clearly.
- 6Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities across a 40% travel schedule.
- 7Ability to analyze market data and trends to guide growth strategies.
- 8Self-motivated and results-oriented, comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- 9Willingness to travel 40% in Middle Tennessee and 10% to East or West Tennessee, with occasional overnights.
