Strategic Finance Senior Manager, AI Automation SaaS
Overview
Own the core KPI framework and pricing strategy for a hypergrowth AI automation platform. Define how we measure value, inform expansion, and guide long-term pricing in a high-signal environment. Partner across Exec, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to connect product metrics to business outcomes. This is a builder role in Strategic Finance at an early-stage infrastructure company.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and own our product KPI framework from automation metrics to customer value and expansion signals
- 2Lead pricing strategy evolution leveraging the KPI framework and scale with the value delivered
- 3Develop ROI and business case tools to quantify value for prospects and inform sales
- 4Enhance margin visibility through cost tracking of personnel, infrastructure, and usage
- 5Create board materials and plans, and determine ROI on marketing, sales, and deployment investments
Requirements9
- 15–8 years total experience with 3+ years in Biz Ops Strategy or Finance at a high-growth SaaS or AI company
- 22+ years in management consulting, investment banking, PE, or VC
- 3Strong analytical rigor with advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling
- 4Track record building KPI frameworks, operating reporting infrastructure, or pricing models from scratch
- 5Working knowledge of SaaS/AI unit economics: CAC, LTV, gross margin, contribution margin, COGS
- 6Ability to drive cross-functional accountability across senior stakeholders
- 7Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
- 8Experience predicting strategic outcomes 12 months ahead
- 9Bachelor's degree in related field
