Sr. Analyst Strategic Finance
Overview
Senior analyst leading strategic finance initiatives for a high-growth technology-driven roadside assistance platform. You will drive investment decisions through deep business modeling and act as the analytical engine supporting optimal decision-making. Partner directly with ops sales and executive team as strategic finance co-pilot while collaborating with PE partners on financial performance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Unit-level economic analysis by customer market and job type to guide resource allocation
- 2Quantify investment impact through analysis and experimentation with product operations
- 3Pressure-test new investments and develop 80/20 ROI cases for go/no-go decisions
- 4Secure new customers by refining pricing models and ownership
- 5Build and own financial forecasts and annual plans setting cadence and driving functional inputs
- 6Analyze monthly business and financial performance identifying simple drivers
- 7Automate reporting using Looker Python and AI tools to shift focus to insight generation
- 8Collaborate with PE partners on financial performance and health metrics
- 9Model business drivers as interconnected system rather than isolated line items
- 10Develop three-statement scenario and sensitivity models with curiosity and business acumen
- 11Earn certifications such as CPC Card BCBA AWS Certified
Requirements10
- 14-6 years corporate finance business operations analytics investment banking or private equity experience
- 2High-growth tech environment preference
- 3Fluency in unit economics contribution-margin thinking
- 4Strong financial modeling skills building three-statement scenario and sensitivity models
- 5SQL Python and BI tools like Looker Tableau
- 6Familiarity with Claude or similar AI tools for automation
