Crusoe seeks a Staff Corporate Security Engineer to architect corporate security posture. The role involves designing Zero Trust Network Access and Secure Access Service Edge solutions while embedding security into employee experience. This position differs by focusing on AI-native security frameworks and scaling identity and access management systems.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead design and implementation of Zero Trust Network Access and Secure Access Service Edge architectures replacing legacy VPNs
- 2Architect preventative SaaS security across Google Workspace Slack and Okta including CASB controls
- 3Implement Binary Authorization and device trust mechanisms using hardware-backed identity like TPM and Secure Enclave
- 4Design Data Loss Prevention controls across endpoints and SaaS platforms to protect intellectual property
- 5Strengthen email security with MFA enforcement and session controls to mitigate phishing and session hijacking
- 6Architect AI-native security frameworks including governance and secure gateways for agent-based systems
- 7Scale identity and access management systems with SSO SAML OAuth SCIM and JIT access workflows
- 8Define and execute a ‘Crown Jewels’ security methodology identifying high-risk vulnerabilities across critical systems
- 9Influence security decisions across engineering and business teams through strong communication and architectural mindset
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading security initiatives in cloud-native environments
- 35+ years experience with SaaS security CASB DLP and identity systems
- 4Strong expertise in device trust endpoint security and hardware-backed identity solutions
- 5Knowledge of email security phishing mitigation and session security controls
- 6Understanding of IDOR and privilege escalation risk mitigation
- 7Familiarity with AI security challenges and secure orchestration patterns
- 8Strong architectural mindset for designing preventative scalable security systems
- 9Excellent communication skills influencing cross-functional teams
