Senior Systems Engineer IAM Operations Crusoe
Overview
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for identity and access management operations at Crusoe. You will own day-to-day IAM duties within an energy-focused AI infrastructure company.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own end-to-end user lifecycle management in Okta including onboarding offboarding hires rehires and contractor conversions
- 2Manage sensitive offboarding scenarios across Slack Google Workspace and other platforms
- 3Administer core SaaS applications such as Slack Claude Port.io and DocuSign ensuring provisioning RBAC and license reclamation
- 4Build access request workflows and approval automations in governance platform to enforce least-privilege principles
- 5Support periodic user access reviews and entitlement certifications across SaaS platforms
- 6Administer Okta security features like FastPass MFA and device trust
- 7Create automations for application provisioning using Okta Workflows and no-code platforms including custom SCIM solutions
- 8Train Service Desk members on security policies and IAM best practices
- 9Act as Tier 2 escalation point for complex access authentication and integration issues
- 10Partner with API team to define automation requirements leveraging Okta Workflows knowledge
- 11Troubleshoot authentication failures API errors and access incidents using REST APIs and scripting
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience in Systems Engineering IT Operations or Identity & Access Management with hands-on Okta administration
- 2Hands-on experience with Identity Governance platforms such as Lumos or Okta Identity Governance
- 3Proven experience managing user lifecycle automation including onboarding offboarding hires rehires and contractor conversions
- 4Deep familiarity with Okta security features FastPass MFA and device trust
- 5Familiarity with SCIM provisioning and custom solution development
- 6Working knowledge of no-code or low-code automation tools especially Okta Workflows
- 7Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication issues REST APIs and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
- 8Experience supporting multi-platform enterprise environments including Google Workspace and Slack
- 9Clear communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally with API engineering and Service Desk teams
