Overview
Tampa Bay Academy of Hope seeks passionate SRAE Facilitators to deliver sexual risk avoidance education using the Heritage Keepers curriculum. This part-time role involves training 100 youth annually while collaborating with partners and attending training sessions. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting abstinence and healthy relationships.
What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver sexual risk avoidance education using the Heritage Keepers curriculum to engage participants in discussions and activities.
- 2Train 100 participants over one year focusing on sexual risk avoidance healthy relationships and self-awareness.
- 3Maintain accurate records of participant contacts and training sessions including dates times participation levels and outcomes.
- 4Submit timely reports and documentation as required by the program.
- 5Collaborate with peers and partner organizations to track participant progress and facilitate optimal outcomes.
- 6Attend Heritage Keepers Curriculum training requiring travel to Charleston SC.
- 7Participate in networking platform training to enhance program effectiveness.
- 8Coordinate scheduling with other facilitators and a Program Assistant to accommodate youth participant schedules.
- 9Contribute 50 percent of time to this project while working other commitments.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- 2Previous experience facilitating educational programs especially sexual risk avoidance or youth education.
- 3Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 4Ability to engage and relate to youth participants effectively.
- 5Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- 6Commitment to promoting abstinence healthy relationships and self-awareness.
- 7Willingness to travel to Charleston SC for curriculum training.
- 8Comfort with using networking platforms and technology for program communication.
- 9Flexible availability for part-time schedule with variable hours.
Salary Insight
$16 - $20k per year
