Overview

The Program Coordinator supports PRO Youth’s prevention wellness youth development leadership and mentoring programs across school and community settings. This full-time onsite role reports to the Executive Administrator of Programs and focuses on coordinating program activities facilitating curriculum and engaging youth partners. The ideal candidate is adaptable collaborative and results-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Coordinate and facilitate wellness prevention leadership and youth development programs
  • 2Deliver engaging youth-centered programming promoting connection resilience and positive decision-making
  • 3Create safe inclusive learning environments using culturally responsive trauma-informed practices
  • 4Build relationships with youth school staff families and community partners
  • 5Facilitate interactive activities workshops and youth engagement experiences
  • 6Maintain program calendars records and documentation
  • 7Support participant recruitment enrollment and retention efforts
  • 8Assist with program implementation quality improvement and evaluation activities
  • 9Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen program implementation and alignment with organizational goals
  • 10Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency privacy requirements
  • 11Support special projects events and other organizational priorities

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in education social services psychology public health youth development or related field preferred
  • 2Minimum two years experience supporting youth programs community-based services education prevention wellness or related programming
  • 3Experience working in prevention behavioral health youth services or community-based programs
  • 4Ability to work in both policy-driven and site-based program environments
  • 5Bilingual skills preferred
  • 6Capable of providing Employment Eligibility Verification
  • 7Complete and pass background screening possess a valid California driver’s license and evidence of insurance coverage
  • 8Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
