What You'll Do11

  • 1Provide one-on-one and group academic tutoring in core subjects and behavioral coaching
  • 2Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and support students with educational needs
  • 3Develop incentive plans to boost student engagement and retention
  • 4Create skill-building projects and manage after-school programs
  • 5Support outreach efforts to recruit and retain youth participants
  • 6Maintain safe learning environments using restorative practices and emergency protocols
  • 7Coordinate with school leaders and community partners to align program goals
  • 8Communicate regularly with families about student progress and challenges
  • 9Collect data and prepare reports for funders and supervisors
  • 10Assist with program evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • 11Participate in staff meetings and complete ongoing training

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in education or related field with 2 years youth development experience
  • 2Proven ability to plan and facilitate enrichment activities for diverse youth groups
  • 3Strong classroom management and conflict resolution skills
  • 4Experience with data collection and program reporting requirements
  • 5Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • 6Physical capability to lift 25 pounds
  • 7Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
