Overview

Hope Cooperative seeks a passionate Program Director to lead mental health and supportive housing initiatives in Sacramento County. This full-time exempt role offers a $2500 sign-on bonus and supports expansion efforts. What You'll Do11

  • 1Lead and oversee clinical supervision towards licensure for eligible positions
  • 2Conduct client assessments and coordinate interventions within scope of practice
  • 3Collaborate with psychiatrists and community partners to develop treatment plans
  • 4Prepare and submit required reports for contracts and funding sources
  • 5Mentor direct reports including interns and volunteers to maintain service quality
  • 6Implement Medi-Cal billing systems and ensure accurate credentialing
  • 7Provide after-hours crisis intervention and back-up coverage
  • 8Develop organizational policies and write new procedures as needed
  • 9Act as mandated reporter for child abuse, neglect, and elder/senior citizen safety
  • 10Manage recruitment by reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations
  • 11Oversee program budgeting and recommend adjustments to maintain financial sustainability

Requirements9

  • 15+ years supervising staff and 3+ years in mental health settings
  • 2Expert knowledge of Medi-Cal billing and three years experience with dual diagnosis populations
  • 3Demonstrated ability to teach social rehabilitation principles and group dynamics
  • 4Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record with minimum three years experience
  • 5CPR and First Aid certification obtained within six months of hire
  • 6Pro-Act training completed and certified within first year of employment
  • 7Background screening cleared by FBI or DOJ
  • 8Consumer of mental health services or family member of a consumer is preferred
  • 9Knowledge of 12-step programs and substance abuse recovery processes
