Prevention Services Supervisor Chicago
Overview
Resilience seeks a Prevention Services Supervisor to lead youth prevention education services and supervise interns. This role owns K-12 curriculum development and school partnerships while driving the OMMB campaign. It differs by focusing on trauma-informed training and community mobilization.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with development and implementation of K-12 school-facing curriculum using evidence-based approaches
- 2Lead in-school stewardship of youth curriculum through onsite supervision of education and training interns
- 3Supervise prevention educator interns via weekly coaching and instructional guidance
- 4Coordinate OMMB campaign logistics including scheduling staff volunteers and managing event activations
- 5Maintain industry partner relationships and develop marketing materials for outreach
- 6Manage volunteer communications and track attendance in My Impact and Empower DB databases
- 7Onboard new staff educators and interns following trauma-informed frameworks
- 8Contribute to community mobilization activities supporting public policy initiatives
- 9Provide peer-coaching to educators on trauma-informed care strategies
- 10Complete monthly reports and evaluate public-prevention education programming
- 11Perform administrative duties to ensure organizational financial stability
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor's degree in Education Public Health Social Work Human Development Family Services or related field
- 2Masters degree preferred
- 3Strong equity framework analysis on belonging LGBTQIA+ issues and racial reproductive disability economic justice
- 4Previous sexual violence prevention education experience and professional training facilitation
- 5Teaching experience with youth/adolescents or youth education provided
- 6Bilingual fluency English Spanish
- 7Ability to manage multiple tasks with exceptional organizational skills
- 8Exceptional executive functioning and emotional intelligence
- 9Adaptability consistency and reliable work ethic
- 10Verbal and written communication proficiency
