Sr Tableau Developer, Onsite & Hybrid Data Visualization
Overview
Lead the design and delivery of expert Tableau dashboards at scale for business stakeholders. Own end-to-end visualization development, data validation, and dashboard performance tuning in a hybrid onsite setting. Collaborate with analytics, IT, and business teams to translate requirements into impactful BI solutions.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build advanced Tableau dashboards that deliver actionable insights for senior stakeholders
- 2Design data models and calculations to ensure accurate, fast visualizations and reliable data refreshes
- 3Integrate diverse data sources and ensure data quality and governance across dashboards
- 4Lead requirement gathering sessions, translate needs into technical specs, and document dashboards for ongoing maintenance
- 5Collaborate with data engineers and IT to optimize data pipelines and publish content to Tableau Server or Tableau Online
- 6Prototype new visualizations and provide guidance on best practices and standards
- 7Own dashboard accessibility, security, and performance monitoring to meet enterprise SLAs
- 8Deliver within a 90-day plan showcasing measurable business impact
Requirements8
- 15+ years building Tableau dashboards and data visualizations with Tableau
- 2Strong experience with data modeling and SQL for data sourcing
- 3Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate into technical specs
- 4Experience with Tableau Server or Tableau Online deployment and governance
- 5Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia area with hybrid 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
- 6Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- 7Comfort sharing an assignment dashboard during interview process
- 8Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field
