Overview
You will own administration of Oracle EBS 12.2.14, Oracle Databases, and Oracle Exadata for a mission-critical Minneapolis enterprise. You will collaborate with a senior infrastructure team to ensure high availability and performance across complex ERP systems. What You'll Do8
- 1Administer and maintain Oracle EBS 12.2.14 and Oracle Databases on Exadata for production stability.
- 2Own patching cycles and apply Oracle quarterly updates, then validate applications and databases.
- 3Tune SQL and PL/SQL to resolve performance bottlenecks in peak transaction periods.
- 4Lead Oracle EBS upgrades and migrations, ensuring zero-downtime approaches where possible.
- 5Troubleshoot and resolve RAC, ASM, and Data Guard issues to protect data integrity.
- 6Implement backup and recovery procedures using RMAN to meet RPO and RTO targets.
- 7Collaborate with developers to optimize high-volume code paths and reduce resource contention.
- 8Produce runbooks and documentation for repeatable EBS administration tasks.
Requirements8
- 18+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS DBA experience, including R12.2.
- 25+ years of production support for Oracle Exadata environments.
- 3Expert-level Oracle Database administration: RAC, ASM, Data Guard.
- 4Strong SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills on large-volume OLTP systems.
- 5Proven EBS patching using AD and ADOP.
- 6RMAN backup and recovery expertise with documented disaster recovery drills.
- 7Experience with Linux and shell scripting for automation.
- 8OCP or Oracle EBS certification is a plus.
