What You'll Do12
- 1Lead the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of complex digital hardware and circuit boards
- 2Drive board design projects through completion, verification, and integration
- 3Conduct hardware research, design, development, and testing of electrical components and systems
- 4Develop technical specifications and ensure hardware reliability and performance
- 5Analyze hardware configurations and verify designs meet system and regulatory requirements
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional partners including systems engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing
- 7Provide hands-on lab support for prototypes, troubleshooting, and production hardware
- 8Approximately 20% of this role will focus on component library management
- 9Building schematic symbols and PCB footprints
- 10Maintaining and improving the electrical component library for E CAD tools
- 11Ensuring component data integrity and standards compliance
- 12Supporting efficient hardware development through library quality and reuse
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical - Computer Engineering
- 24 years related work experience
- 3Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
- 4Experience with digital hardware design
- 5Experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, or Altium
- 6Familiarity with regulated product development environments (medical device, aerospace, automotive)
- 7Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and cross-functional teams
- 8Strong troubleshooting skills in a lab environment
