What You'll Do9

  • 1Lead electronic hardware design from concept through production including circuit simulation and analysis
  • 2Select electronic components considering performance availability cost and long-term obsolescence
  • 3Design and develop PCBs using Altium Designer covering complex multi-layer boards flex circuits and high-speed digital designs
  • 4Develop and support embedded controller solutions based on ARM architectures
  • 5Design system wiring harnesses and cables
  • 6Perform hardware and software integration testing and debugging
  • 7Support system-level compliance and regulatory testing IEC 60601 EMC EMI ESD
  • 8Build and debug prototypes including SMD rework and lab troubleshooting
  • 9Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to support product development and sustainment

Requirements13

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • 210–15+ years of direct hands-on electrical engineering experience
  • 3Extensive design experience across full product development lifecycle
  • 4Strong hands-on experience with ARM-based embedded systems
  • 5Experience with high-voltage and high-power systems up to 1000 V 400 A and 4 kW
  • 6Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative engineering environment
  • 7Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 8Medical aesthetics or medical device industry experience strongly preferred
  • 9Experience with wireless design Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • 10Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
  • 11Familiarity with flex circuit design
  • 12Knowledge of IEC 60601 standards safety emissions testing
  • 13Experience with high-speed digital design of complex multi-layer boards
