What You'll Do11
- 1Lead technical project execution for electrical systems of consumer robotic and medical devices
- 2Transform initial design concepts into fully functional manufactured products
- 3Develop system architecture and select components based on robust testable requirements
- 4Design circuit schematics and bill of materials while completing PCB layout
- 5Perform board bring-up and integration testing alongside mechanical and software teams
- 6Write comprehensive test procedures and support formal verification of design functions
- 7Manage component lifecycle including redesign for obsolescence or supply constraints
- 8Apply EMI prevention principles and assist with EMC certification processes
- 9Document all design steps and champion continuous improvement of engineering practices
- 10Collaborate across disciplines to integrate hardware solutions and ensure reliability
- 11Mentor junior engineers and lead initiatives that advance project timelines
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 28+ years of electrical engineering experience with proven leadership in product development
- 3Proficiency with Altium design tools for schematic review and PCB modifications
- 4Demonstrated expertise in PCBA board-level troubleshooting and systematic root cause analysis
- 5Strong ability to lead projects and prioritize tasks toward successful delivery
- 6Experience with analog and digital design including microprocessor FPGA DSP systems
- 7Familiarity with power management switching supplies battery powered devices wireless communication components sensors
- 8Background in medical device hardware development adhering to regulatory standards
- 9Exposure to antenna modeling and high-speed digital design concepts
- 10Proficiency in FPGA design power electronics motor control Python for automation
- 11Experience with version control systems Confluence JIRA Bitbucket
