What You'll Do7
- 1Design automation and control schematics for PLC-based manufacturing equipment.
- 2Program PLC, HMI, and robotic controller logic to meet customer specifications.
- 3Commission new automated systems at customer sites, integrating robotic cells with existing lines.
- 4Debug and troubleshoot control system failures using SCADA and diagnostic tools.
- 5Travel to customer sites up to 30% to support installed systems and resolve issues.
- 6Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- 7Document control system designs and update CAD drawings for as-built configurations.
Requirements7
- 13+ years proven experience in automation controls engineering, focusing on PLC and HMI programming.
- 2Hands-on experience with robotic system integration, including FANUC, ABB, or KUKA controllers.
- 3Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) preferred.
- 4Willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites.
- 5Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical schematics and control logic.
- 6Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- 7Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking protocols like EtherNet/IP or Profibus.
