Overview

You will own speech-language services for students with IEPs at The Menta Education Group's Country Club Hills Tech and Trade Center. Work 2 days per week during school hours, supervising groups and individuals, and updating IEP goals. Collaborate with a team of educators and therapists to support young adults aged 18-22 in a transition program. This role offers flexibility in days worked and includes compensated intrastate travel. Ideal for a CFY or experienced SLP passionate about making a difference.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Supervise students in groups and individually, monitoring behavior to align with programmatic expectations.
  • 2Provide educational direction and support during moments of confusion, frustration, or emotional upset.
  • 3Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for your student caseload.
  • 4Deliver Speech-Language related service minutes as dictated by each IEP.
  • 5Maintain accurate related service logs, updating them weekly.
  • 6Work 2 days per week during school hours, with flexible scheduling.
  • 7Travel intrastate as required, with compensation.

Requirements3

  • 1Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university program.
  • 2Current Speech-Language Pathology license from IDFPR.
  • 3Clinical Competency Certification (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.
