Speech Language Pathologist, K-12 School Caseload
Overview
You will own speech and language therapy for a K–12 caseload in Galt, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. CCC-SLP and CF candidates are both encouraged to apply, with placement based on experience. This full-time onsite role places you within multidisciplinary school teams, collaborating daily with teachers, families, and specialists. What You'll Do9
- 1Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 settings.
- 2Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
- 3Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams.
- 4Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student.
- 5Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals.
- 6Adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs and classroom environments.
- 7Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- 8Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on speech and language goals.
- 9Coordinate with district administrators to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements7
- 1Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- 2Active CA SLP license or willingness to acquire one before start.
- 3Acceptance of CF (Clinical Fellowship) or CCC-SLP credentials.
- 4School-based experience is a plus but not required.
- 5Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families and school staff.
- 6Ability to manage a caseload of students with diverse needs.
- 7Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.
