You will own speech-language services for K-12 students across multiple school sites near Fremont, CA, driving measurable IEP outcomes. What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students per IEP goals in pull-out and push-in settings.
- 2Conduct comprehensive assessments and write diagnostic reports for initial and triennial evaluations.
- 3Build individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, fluency, language, and pragmatic skills.
- 4Track student progress with data collection systems and document in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- 5Lead IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for goals and accommodations.
- 6Coach teachers and paraprofessionals on classroom strategies for carryover of communication skills.
- 7Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related service providers to align therapy with academic objectives.
- 8Adapt therapy approaches to support diverse learners, including students with autism and developmental delays.
Requirements6
- 1Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- 2Active SLP license in California.
- 3Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred.
- 4Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- 5Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs.
- 6Eligibility for ASHA CCCs (bonus) or equivalent state certification.
