What You'll Do8

  • 1Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools and informal measures.

  • 3Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, using evidence-based interventions.
  • 4Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate communication strategies into daily routines.
  • 5Maintain accurate documentation for assessments, progress notes, and IEP updates.
  • 6Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations to guide student support.
  • 7Provide consultative guidance to classroom staff and caregivers on communication strategies.
  • 8Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based SLP.

Requirements6

  • 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • 2Current or eligible California state SLP licensure, or Clinical Fellow with eligibility.
  • 3Prior experience with school-based caseloads, all grade levels welcome.
  • 4Familiarity with IEP process, goal setting, evaluation, and specialized interventions.
  • 5Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • 6Proficiency in teletherapy platforms is a plus.
