Overview

NCS seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to own therapy services for K-8 students, including Autistic learners, across individualized and group sessions. You will design IEP goals, deliver direct therapy, and build social programs using Social Thinking® methodologies. Join a team of 4+ in-house SLPs with direct mentorship from a licensed manager. Access monthly Social Thinking® consultation and a $250 CEU allowance. Shape school programming and mentor graduate students in a mission-driven culture.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Deliver individualized and small-group speech therapy to students with IEPs across K-8, targeting receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social-pragmatic skills.
  • 2Design and implement Social Club programming for Autistic students using Social Thinking® methodologies.
  • 3Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations using screenings and standardized assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • 4Write and update IEP goals and present levels of performance in collaboration with the IEP team.
  • 5Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and compliance documentation aligned with IDEA regulations.
  • 6Provide classroom strategies to teachers and support staff for at-risk students.
  • 7Participate in student support meetings, IEP meetings, and family consultations.
  • 8Attend weekly team meetings and supervision with an experienced SLP manager.
  • 9Engage in school-wide professional development and monthly Social Thinking® consultant sessions.
  • 10Supervise graduate-level SLP students and contribute to shaping programming.

Requirements9

  • 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • 2Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • 3Clinical Fellows (CF) encouraged to apply with high-quality supervision provided.
  • 4TSSLD Certification required.
  • 5Experience supporting school-aged students with disabilities, especially Autistic learners.
  • 6Familiarity with Social Thinking® curriculum by Michelle Garcia Winner.
  • 7Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • 8Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred.
  • 9Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
