What You'll Do9
- 1Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students using evidence-based interventions.
- 2Conduct screenings and assessments under appropriate supervision, documenting results accurately.
- 3Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies aligned with student goals.
- 4Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- 5Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student outcomes.
- 6Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to address speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication needs.
- 7Track required CF hours and maintain fellowship documentation to meet ASHA requirements.
- 8Engage in scheduled CF supervision, mentoring, and professional development sessions.
- 9Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal educational standards.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- 2Completion of required academic coursework and supervised clinical practicum.
- 3Eligibility to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship.
- 4Eligibility for the appropriate Nevada SLP licensure pathway for supervised practice.
- 5Ability to meet Nevada Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology requirements.
- 6Ability to obtain any required Nevada Department of Education credential for school-based practice.
- 7Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- 8Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements.
