Specialist Events Manager, Travel & Leisure Co
Overview
Own end-to-end event planning across on site and off site venues for Travel & Leisure Co brands. Manage venue procurement entertainment booking dining arrangements transportation and vendor partnerships with focus on guest satisfaction and sales outcomes. Collaborate with field sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities to increase on site owner tour participation. Lead cross functional execution ensuring events stay within budget and align with corporate objectives. This role requires heavy travel and schedule flexibility and offers exposure to a global hospitality business.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build strategic relationships with site sales and marketing leaders to enhance event quality guest satisfaction and operational efficiencies
- 2Plan and manage multiple events at various stages simultaneously leading to on site owner tour participation and high guest satisfaction
- 3Host events with owners resort and venue personnel and marketing and sales leaders
- 4Research event logistics determine concepts within budget and drive sales success
- 5Submit event details proformas and contracts to senior leadership for cost approvals and timely execution
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 25+ years of experience in marketing campaign strategy or loyalty marketing
- 32+ years of experience managing external vendors agencies or direct reports
- 4Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency including PowerPoint Excel Outlook
- 5Strong project management cross functional collaboration and communication skills
