Overview
Own student support at a STEM-focused charter school with hands-on classroom assistance and behavior monitoring. Collaborate with teachers to deliver targeted interventions and small-group instruction to students during a full-time, in-person schedule. What You'll Do5
- 1Build instructional support for small groups or individuals while the teacher works with other students
- 2Assist the ESS teacher and administrators in observing, recording, and charting student behavior
- 3Deliver interventions and tutoring as directed by the supervising teacher
- 4Provide crisis support and behavior management assistance to teachers
- 5Carry out instructional programs designed by the teacher
Requirements7
- 1Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain prior to start date
- 2High school diploma or GED
- 3An Associate’s degree or higher; 60+ college credits (100-level coursework and above); or a passing score on an ADE-approved paraprofessional assessment
- 4Salary: 17.00 to 19.00 per hour
- 5In-person schedule Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
- 6Sponsorship or relocation not listed
- 7Experience in classroom support or behavior management preferred
